Whoops, that's no longer true! As of version 1.6.7 ALL the different languages are installed into the same "CLIP STUDIO 1.5" folder! In order to keep your Japanese installation separate you'll need to RENAME the "CLIP STUDIO 1.5" folder to "CLIP STUDIO 1.5 JP" before you install the English version or it will overwrite the existing Japanese installation (so you pretty much HAVE to install the Japanese version FIRST, rename the folder, and THEN install the English version).

You can have the Legacy Japanese, New Japanese, Legacy English, and New English programs all installed on the same system at the same time without conflicts, because they all "live" in separate folders.

However, PAINT can still (for the most part) use the older format 3D materials, so COORDINATE is still available and can be used as a "legacy" app.

In the most recent versions the functions of COORDINATE have been integrated into MODELER, where those "3D Setup" functions can still be used without buying a license. You can stop reading right now.

The ACTION features have been moved into the new PAINT animation functions. This page will tell you how to install the Japanese apps and patch the software with unofficial English language patches. It is actually just one part of a larger "suite" of software, but users outside of Japan currently only get the PAINT program and a feature-limited version of the "Assets" Launcher program.
